We are looking forward to the release of Mother/Wound by Sayuri Ayers and A Song Greater Than I Am by Jason Kaufman later this fall. These are two terrific poets you won't want to miss. Both have written poignant and lovely collections about new parenthood. We expect a late November release. *Update: We've moved publication date up to early 2020! Still excited! Paula J. Lambert's The Ecstasy of Wanting is now available in a new standard-format edition. (Note that the original, gorgeous, hand-stitched, special edition is now a collectible item and no longer available.) The standard edition has a similar cover, stapled binding, and the same terrific poems. Order your copy here! We are pleased to announce that Paula J. Lambert's The Sudden Seduction of Gravity will be reissued in standard format. The original, gorgeous, hand-stitched, special edition sold out this past fall (and Juan Armando's De caña de maíz y miel: 12 haikus de Ohio / On Cornstalks and Honey: 12 Ohio Haiku has very nearly sold out). Because we've received so many requests for more, we'll be releasing a new issue of the book with the same title and poems, using standard cover stock and saddle-stitched (stapled) binding, in April of this year. We'll issue a call for pre-orders soon! We are happy to announce the publication of De caña de maíz y miel: 12 haikus de Ohio/On Cornstalks and Honey: 12 Ohio Haiku by Juan Armando Rojas Joo. This elegant, special edition chapbook contains twelve poems in their original Spanish and translated to English by Jennifer Rathbun. Presenting a gorgeous rendering of the Ohio landscape, this "pocket-size" edition (4" x 5 1/2") is a real beauty. Each book is hand-stitched and lined with gorgeous art paper inserts. A limited edition, we expect these to sell out soon! Order link up soon! Full/Crescent Press is proud to announce our next publication! Juan Armando Rojas Joo is a poet we just love. He has read for us at Poetry at Perkins Observatory: In Celebration of the Night Sky, and then again (twice!) for the Sun & Moon Poetry Festival. We are very, very proud to put forth his new, special-edition, haiku chapbook,. De caña de maíz y miel: 12 haikus de Ohio/On Cornstalks and Honey: 12 Ohio Haiku. With translation to English by Jennifer Rathbun, some truly gorgeous cover art, colorful art-paper linings, and hand-stitched bindings. these are intended to be a work of art you hold in your hands. As noted on our Facebook page on August 27, Full/Crescent Press is very excited that, in order to turn our focus back to publishing, the Ohio Poetry Association will now be host and organizer of the Sun & Moon Poetry Festival. We look forward to seeing them implement some very exciting plans for moving the festival forward, and we look forward to continuing as a sponsor for the event. Here's to next year's festival!
